Juvaun
Kirby
started drawing comics professionally in 1995 under exclusive contract
to WildStorm Productions, where he penciled titles including Backlash,
Wetworks and Gen-13. He left WildStorm to go
freelance, illustrating a few different X-Men projects
at Marvel Comics and as well as tackling a myriad of commercial
art and design jobs. Career highlights include providing character
designs for a General Mills campaign, redesigning '70s superheroes
the Blue Falcon and Dynomutt for Cartoon Network, and serving as
the lead concept artist for THQ’s Rocket Power video game.
Beyond all of his comics, game, and design work, Kirby has also
created album covers for groups including the Greans, Monkey Wagon,
and King Solomon.
